Reports to: Cleaning Bay Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and understand work instructions, maintenance manuals, operating procedures, and customer specifications.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of process paperwork and parts control.
  • Perform disassembly of aircraft wheel and brake parts according to maintenance manuals.
  • Dismount aircraft tires safely and efficiently.
  • Clean aircraft wheels and brakes using specialized cleaning machines.
  • Clean structural and component parts of aircraft wheels and brakes.
  • Operate media blasters for effective paint removal.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
  • Adapt to various shifts in response to customer needs.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous engineering experience is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and take instruction.
  • GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent) is required.
  • Applicants must be fit and healthy, as the job is physically demanding.
