Accounts Payable // Leigh // up to £26k DOE // Office basedDo you enjoy Accounts Payable? You may already have considerable experience in this or perhaps you have had some initial exposure and are keen to focus more closely on this area of transactional finance. In this role, you will develop your knowledge and become fully competent in the end-to-end process.We are currently working with an international, multi-faceted Group which has demonstrated continued growth and success over many decades. This business is looking for the right person to complete their friendly finance team, based in the office full-time at their Leigh headquarters.The individual will complete end-to-end Accounts Payable duties for a number of businesses within the group. Full training will be provided, although there is a need for the individual to have some previous hands-on exposure to transactional finance and an understanding of double entry accounting.Duties:
  • Utilising multiple systems to ensure invoices are uploaded by automatic and manual methods
  • Processing high volumes of invoices of various currencies
  • Setting up suppliers
  • Gaining authorisations from other contacts in the business
  • Releasing POs
  • Efficient query resolution
  • Supplier Statement Reconciliations
  • Payment runs in multiple currencies.
Experience required:
  • An understanding of double entry bookkeeping 
  • Some exposure to Accounts Payable and knowledge of the process
  • A desire to focus on transactional finance, developing strong payables expertise
  • Able to work well in a team, adaptable and accommodating
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail 
  • Great communication skills and able to build great relationships with key stakeholders.
