A hugely successful company close to Leigh is looking for an Account Manager. The role offers a salary of up to £31,000 with lots of benefits including a company car, annual bonus, pension scheme, free parking and holidays that increase to 24 days plus bank holidays over time (including your birthday as an extra day off!), staff rewards and more! What will you be doing as an Account Manager?Based from the office, you will be visiting a range of established customers at sites across the UK. Duties include:

  • Managing a range of existing customer accounts across the UK
  • Meeting customers on a regular basis to review, develop and expand the customers range
  • Managing your own diary and arranging appointments
  • Analysing customer accounts
  • Dealing with a mixture of inbound and outbound calls from the office
  • Updating the system and assisting with any administration tasks
  • Processing orders
  • Attending trade exhibitions
  • Emailing to update customers on the progress of their orders
  • Processing amendments to orders, sending purchase orders
  • The role involves dealing with existing customers - no cold calling

  • Experience in a similar account manager or field sales role or a background in another business to business sales admin, telesales or other relationship based role would also be interesting
  • Strong communicator with excellent relationship building skills
  • Self motivated and excellent time management skills
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Full current driving licence
