Reeson Education is working with a specialist SEMH school in WN7, Wigan, to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11 to 16 years with social, emotional, and mental health needs. This full-time, long-term role offers the opportunity to work in a structured, therapeutic environment designed to support pupils with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide classroom support as a Teaching Assistant to students with SEMH needs
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to support emotional regulation, social skills, and academic learning
  • Assist in behaviour management and help create a structured, supportive environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement tailored support strategies
