The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 1 (KS1) pupils starting as soon as possible. Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher as a Teaching Assistant to deliver high-quality lessons and support KS1 pupils in their learning journey.
  • Work as a Teaching Assistant to help implement small-group and one-to-one interventions for pupils, reinforcing core subjects.
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, ensuring they reach their full potential in the classroom.
  • Help create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages children's academic and social development.
  • Foster an inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported as they thrive academically.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential).
  • A proactive, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
  • Strong ability to build positive relationships with KS1 pupils and staff.
  • Passionate about early childhood development and education.
