About the Company

Our client is a leading engineering services provider specialising in delivering bespoke, high-quality mechanical and electrical solutions across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, and healthcare. With a focus on innovative design, installation, and ongoing project management, they work on both new builds and major refurbishments, ensuring sustainable and energy-efficient systems are implemented in every project.

Due to an expanding portfolio of work, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. This role will involve designing electrical systems for building services, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for various building services projects, from concept through to completion.

• Work closely with the design and project teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions.

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and client specifications.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and electrical drawings using industry-standard software.

• Provide technical support throughout the lifecycle of projects, including liaising with clients, contractors, and other key stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical design within the building services sector.

• Strong knowledge of building services electrical systems, including power, lighting, and energy-efficient solutions.

• Proficiency with industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and similar.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams.

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services is highly desirable.
