Your new companyPrimary schools in the Leigh area are looking to secure a KS2 PPA Cover Teacher to work on a full-time basis. You will be joining a highly supportive network of staff and will be working closely with the KS2 Teachers to ensure the correct support is being provided to the classes. The school is easily accessible via public transport and has great facilities within the school. This role will start immediately after the February half-term and has the potential to be extended until July for the right candidate.Your new roleIn this role, you will be responsible for covering various classes across KS2 depending on the timetable for PPA cover. You will need to be flexible with year groups that you work in as you may be expected to cover in KS1 from time to time. You will be required to take on delivering pre-planned lessons to classes, you may be required to mark the work for that particular lesson, but it is dependent on the teacher. You should hold strong behaviour management skills and be able to build relationships quickly with both pupils and staff. Due to the needs of the classes, the school is looking for an experienced teacher to come in and hit the ground running.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You should be enthusiastic, approachable and be able to hit the ground running.
