Description

As Senior Quality Engineer you role will be to develop, maintain and drive the company quality requirements including management systems to ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements in support of business credibility and customer service, to supply high quality products with high customer satisfaction and low customer complaints.

  • Lead and manage the engineering and manufacturing team in Leigh.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes and maintain quality standards in accordance to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
  • Identify and resolve product and service quality issues.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and reviews.
  • Implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on quality standards and procedures.

Profile

A successful Senior Quality Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a quality control role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.
  • The ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience conducting quality audits and reviews.
