I am pleased to be working with a specialist, Leigh-based manufacturer who are currently seeking a Marketing Administrator to join their busy team. They are hiring on a full-time, permanent basis and the role is located in Leigh, Wigan. This position would be ideal for a graduate, or someone in the early stages of pursuing a career in marketing.

Role Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the company social media channels, updating them regularly with new and interesting content to increase exposure and engagement. They will also undertake a number of ad hoc administration duties to support the efficient running of the technical team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage company social media channels, updating regularly with fresh content to maximise exposure and engagement
  • Come up with new and innovative marketing ideas which drive sales and push new and existing products
  • Liaise with other department within the business to identify product and sales trends, using this information to produce content and ideas to be used for marketing purposes
  • Undertake general filing duties, both paper and electronic
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the technical team, providing general administrative support when required

Specification:

  • A background in Marketing is essential, with previous experience and/or degree-level (or equivalent) preferred
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Can demonstrate the ability to prioritise, multitask whilst retaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, with a particular focus on Excel
