Are you an Engineer with a background in powered access that wants to be a key part of a well-established company that offers training and a varied role within the machine hire industry?

This company is an industrial hire business who operate across the North West of England. While the business has seen considerable growth, it still prides itself on maintaining a family feel throughout the business.

In this role you will responsible for inspecting and maintaining company equipment. The successful candidate will be a key part of ensuring the fleet, inclusive of Cherry Pickers, Scissor Lifts and Ariel Work Platforms is kept up to the companies quality standards ready for the clients usage. The successful candidate will have accurate written and verbal skills in order to complete progress checks and sign off paper work to required internal and external standards.

If you have some experience as a Powered Access Engineer and knowledge of powered access platforms and machinery, this may be the right role for you.

The role:

  • Maintaining and upkeeping of Powered Access Equipment
  • Carrying out PDI's (pre delivery Inspections)
  • Completing any repairs that of varied fleet
  • Working in partnership with the hire desk to ensure all equipment is readily available for customers' needs
  • Completing all relevant checks and engineering paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Whilst the majority of work in the workshop, you may have to travel to client sites in order to fix breakdowns
  • Monday - Friday

The person:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Full UK driving license
