We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in various classes in a wonderful school within the Leigh area. This is a full time role Monday to Friday.

The Primary School is a 1 form entry school with dedicated staff and supportive SLT.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of success in supporting in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with a thorough understanding of the national curriculum. You should be passionate about engaging children and helping them to achieve their full potential and should be committed to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment for all. This will incorporate 1-1 supporting roles as well as some general class group work.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Have a real passion of supporting children
  • Experience of working within EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with a proven track record
  • Experience of supporting children on a 1-1 basis
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
