Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support for EYFS (Complex Needs)Location: LeighSalary: £90 - £95 per day, depending on experience
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Leigh. This full-time role is focused on providing 1:1 support for a child in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) who has complex needs, including autism and ADHD.
The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with children in a 1:1 capacity and demonstrate exceptional teamwork skills. A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and Team Teach training are advantageous. This role is perfect for a proactive and patient individual looking to make a positive impact in a supportive school environment.
Key Requirements:
- Experience supporting children with SEND on a 1:1 basis
- Excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills
- Team Teach and/or Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (desirable)
This school is based within Leigh and is accessible via public transport links.

- NVQ level 2 qualification
- Experience of working with EYFS children
- Experience of phonics
- Experience of supporting pupils with ASC, ADHD and global delay
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
