Role: Trainee Drainage Surveyor
Salary: £28,500 with OTE of £35,000 (Including overtime, stay aways & weekends)
Location: Leigh Office (Manchester)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 5am – 2pm (job depending) 45 hour working week

Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Trainee Drainage Surveyor to join the team. The main purpose of this role is to support the Drainage Engineering Team.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £28,500 P/A, depending on experience, plus Overtime, as well as training to further your career development. This is a full-time permanent position.
Reporting to the PPM Manager, your responsibilities will include:
To attend sites across the country to assess site & asset access, investigate external below-ground, internal/soil & high-level roof/gutter drainage systems detailing condition and number of assets within the site demise. Collating all information to produce a job report detailing what teams, equipment & job methods are needed to complete the job. Information is to be directly internally to produce a planned maintenance quotation.
To attend sites across the country to create detailed PPM drainage connectivity plans. External drainage plans to be created by hand on a printed site map & internal/soil plans to be created via handheld tablet. Surveyor to lift/identify all assets on site & all assets using various methods of testing IE: Drainage dye & CCTV equipment.
To attend sites across the country to carry out regular site inspections as part of our planned maintenance portfolio by creating a conditional report of all assets & submitting remedial/recommendation forms to highlight any defects, access issues etc.
To assist Delivery department with live PPM works (where required) by attending site with tanker vacuum unit and assisting with clearance works.
The ideal candidate:
Full UK Driving Licence
Availability to complete weekend work
CSCS Card
Previous Drainage Experience
Attention to detail
Exceptional punctuality
Basic technology use
