We are currently recruiting for a Remedial Works & Admin Co-ordinator to join a company in Leighton Buzzard. The working hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm.
Job Summary:
This role involves coordinating remedial work processes, including preparing quotes, liaising with engineers, scheduling jobs, and ensuring customers receive timely and accurate reports. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quote Preparation.
- Prepare and distribute remedial quotes based on completed maintenance reports.
- Generate quotes using product selection and installation requirements.
- Revalidate existing quotes to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Provide customers with quotes, relevant specifications, and accompanying data sheets.
- Customer Communication & Reporting.
- Return maintenance reports to customers, ensuring all recommendations are documented.
- Act as a point of contact for customer queries related to remedial works and quotes.
- Engineer Liaison & Administration.
- Work closely with engineers post-job to determine recommendations or additional works required.
- Assist with general engineer administration tasks to support smooth operations.
- Scheduling & Coordination.
- Schedule remedial works, including assigning engineers, coordinating deliveries, and arranging collections.
- Prepare comprehensive parts lists required for remedial jobs.
- Develop and provide Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for planned works.
- Audit Office and WH first aid kits quarterly.
- Book engineer hotels (when needed).
- Engineer Admin (incl. PPE Checklists/Vehicle Audits).
- Manage PCNs.
- Equipment calibration control.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with UPS systems or related technical equipment (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to interpret technical reports and liaise effectively with engineers.
- Previous experience in scheduling, coordination, or administrative roles is an advantage.
