OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to kick-start their career in financial services and accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various financial operations, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and assisting with accounts payable processes. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those looking to gain experience in the financial sector.

Duties:

  • Bank statements and exports
  • Daily postings of receipts and payments for both our Client and Office accounts
  • Posting of bills
  • Processing incoming cheques and daily banking
  • Processing of transfers between internal accounts
  • Processing BACS, CHAPS, and cheque requests
  • Deposit account receipts and withdrawals
  • Processing of weekly employee expenses
  • Petty cash
  • Input and payment of supplier invoices
  • Supporting the accounts department and Fee Earners with any additional duties, as and when required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Good IT skills (working knowledge of Excel)
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy office
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 9am to 5:30pm
  • 1 hour for lunch
