Role Overview:We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to support our branch in delivering excellent service and driving sales growth. This role involves maintaining in-depth knowledge of general insurance products, assisting with various branch functions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice on general insurance products and support customers with their insurance needs.
- Assist in maintaining high levels of customer service and operational efficiency within the branch.
- Research, plan, and implement sales and marketing initiatives to generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across insurance and financial services to enhance customer value.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and policy information.
- Ensure all sales are conducted professionally and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Generate and develop new business opportunities, including commercial insurance sales.
- Act as a key contact for customers, building long-term relationships and reinforcing the company’s reputation.
Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years continuous employment on their CV
- Insurance selling experience but anyone with a solid background in financial services or selling into the SME market would be considered.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to identify sales opportunities and provide tailored solutions to customers.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of general insurance products and industry regulations (preferred).
- Maths and English GCSE at C grade (5 on the current scale)
- Clean driving licence with own car
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 9am to 5pm
- 35 hours a week
