Role Overview:We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to support our branch in delivering excellent service and driving sales growth. This role involves maintaining in-depth knowledge of general insurance products, assisting with various branch functions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice on general insurance products and support customers with their insurance needs.
  • Assist in maintaining high levels of customer service and operational efficiency within the branch.
  • Research, plan, and implement sales and marketing initiatives to generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across insurance and financial services to enhance customer value.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and policy information.
  • Ensure all sales are conducted professionally and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Generate and develop new business opportunities, including commercial insurance sales.
  • Act as a key contact for customers, building long-term relationships and reinforcing the company’s reputation.

Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years continuous employment on their CV
  • Insurance selling experience but anyone with a solid background in financial services or selling into the SME market would be considered.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities and provide tailored solutions to customers.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of general insurance products and industry regulations (preferred).
  • Maths and English GCSE at C grade (5 on the current scale)
  • Clean driving licence with own car

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 9am to 5pm
  • 35 hours a week
