Sales Manager – South Location: Leighton Buzzard (Hybrid role: 2-3 days a week in-office and in the field) Salary: £38,480 + £450 monthly car allowance (option to switch to a company car post-probation) + up to 18% commission of salaryHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm A dynamic logistics leader is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth by identifying and capturing new sales opportunities across the logistics industry, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution services. This pivotal role focuses on building strong client relationships and developing strategic partnerships to advance company success.Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director to develop and implement sales strategies in line with company goals.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities in logistics and foster robust client relationships.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor actions, and industry changes to capitalise on emerging sales opportunities.
  • Analyse sales performance metrics and provide regular insights to management.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support seamless customer onboarding and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
The Candidate
  • Industry Experience: At least 1 year in logistics sales.
  • Sales Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) and adaptable IT capabilities.
  • Behavioural Traits: Strong relationship-building abilities, highly organized, proactive in sales, and a team player with enthusiasm.
