Role: Sales Manager

Location: Leighton Buzzard 2-3 days a week.

Hours: 8.30am-5.00pm  - Monday to Friday

Salary: £38,480 + £450 car allowance from day 1 with the option to swap for a company car following successful probation. Commission of up to 18% basic salary per annum

A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for a Sales Manager to join our client’s successful team in Leighton Buzzard.

About the role:

As a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and fostering strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients

Key Duties & responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics industry, including but not limited to warehousing, transportation, and distribution services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Stay abreast of market developments, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to management for informed decision-making
  • Work as part of the sales team to achieve targets and exceed expectations, provide guidance, coaching and support where needed
  • Negotiate favourable terms and agreements with clients, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives

What we would like from you:

  • Experience and knowledge of the logistics industry is essential
