Our client is a prestigious Global Engineering Organisation operating in the aerospace sector, specialising in precision machining and hard metal processing. We are currently looking for experienced CNC Programmer with expertise in CNC lathe operations to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CNC Lathe Operation:Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes.
  • Precision Shaft Grinding:Perform precision shaft grinding on hard metals, specificallyInconel, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
  • Machine Maintenance:Conduct routine checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting on CNC lathes to ensure smooth and efficient machine operation.
  • Quality Control:Monitor and inspect finished products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with the team to meet production targets, resolve issues, and continuously improve processes.
  • Documentation:Accurately record production data, including machine settings, materials used, and finished product details.

Qualifications

  • Engineering Knowledge:Solid understanding of technical drawings, machining processes, and tooling.
  • Attention to Detail:Strong focus on quality and precision, ensuring all products meet stringent aerospace industry standards.
  • Problem-Solving:Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments to maintain production quality and efficiency.
  • Communication Skills:Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and management.

Additional Information

Shift Patterns:

  • Week 1:
    • Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
    • Friday: 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM
  • Week 2:
    • Monday to Thursday: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
    • Friday: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
