About the Role:
Quest Employment is seeking a skilled and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join the team for a leading provider of sun protection products. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in warehouse operations, including pick packing, scanning, and goods in processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counterbalance Forklift Operation: Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Pick and Pack: Accurately pick and pack products according to orders, ensuring timely and correct dispatch.
- Scanning: Utilise scanning equipment to manage and track inventory.
- Goods In: Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring they meet quality and quantity standards.
Requirements:
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse environment, specifically with pick packing, scanning, goods in, and operating a counterbalance forklift.
- Licence: Must hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
- Physical Fitness: Capable of performing manual tasks and lifting heavy items when necessary.
