This Marketing PR Executive is suitable for an entry level applicant or a more experienced PR Executive, if you have some PR or copywriting experience.

Basic Salary: £26 - 30K DOE plus company bonus
Hours: 8.30am - 5pm Mon to Fri (30 mins lunch)

About the Role
Seeking a dynamic Marketing and PR Executive with strong writing skills to take charge of public relations efforts. The ideal candidate will create compelling content, manage PR activities and help position the company’s presence as a key player in the industry. This role may also be involved with event coordination and potentially managing their presence at awards dinners and other industry functions. Responsibilities include:
- Write compelling press releases, blog posts and case studies for both online and print platforms
- Develop engaging content that enhances brand visibility and strengths industry presence
- Work closely with trade publications and media outlets to secure press coverage
- Maintain and update website’s news, case study and blog sections with content that’s fresh and relevant to the brands, products and business
- Organise occasional site visits to capture case study content
- Organise vendors’ PR Content Creation teams to produce effective press releases and case studies that both parties can use
- Work closely with our digital marketing agency to SEO optimise content posted to our website news, blog and case study areas
- Monitor and measure the impact of PR activities and report on key metrics
- Support the wider marketing team with promotional campaigns and social media content as needed
- Support the wider marketing team with general marketing tasks and cover of work when needed
About You
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to inject fun into copy and to write in a friendly, yet professional tone
- Previous experience in marketing, PR or communications is desirable
- Ability to craft engaging, persuasive and industry relevant content
- Ability to research and understand a technical subject, and from this, write authoritative content that is factually correct and informative
- Understanding of media relations is desirable
- Basic understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Basic photography skills are desirable
- Comfortable using Adobe Photoshop. InDesign would also be ideal but not essential.
- GCSE B+ Grade in English Literature / Language or equivalent
