Senior SQL DBA Systems Integration and Production

Senior SQL Database Administrator / Developer required by Bedfordshire based expanding organisation. The successful candidate must have at least 5 years exposure of working in a DBA type role, SQL, TSQL, importing and exporting data, knowledge of Access and Microsoft Office and ideally some experience of DTS, RDBMS implementation and SSIS reporting or knowledge of the SQL development stack.The successful SQL DBA will have a strong grounding in clustering and be capable of administering day to day and week to week processes within a medium sized SQL database. The role will entail dealing with the supply of client data, processing client data, setup of SQL Databases, setup reports in Excel and Develop and maintain Databases in SQL Server. The work will be split at around 75% admin and tuning with 25% new development within SQL and moving towards Azure and MongoDB. Any exposure to Disaster Recovery is highly advantageous.This is a great opportunity to work for an organisation that sees training their staff and keeping them up to date with the latest technologies of the utmost importance as well as offering progression within the organisation.
