OverviewWe are seeking a Transport Debriefer to join our team for the night shift. The role involves ensuring efficient communication and coordination within the transport department.

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 6:30pm to 3:30am

Responsibilities

  • Brief and debrief drivers, ensuring that temperature compliance has been maintained.
  • Allocating vehicles to all Leighton Buzzard HGV routes on the in house system
  • Managing the vehicle movements in the yard, allocating check codes to final mile routes.
  • Managing vehicle and fridge repairs.
  • Downloading driver digital tachograph cards on to the system.
  • Processing all driver 6 monthly licence checks.
  • Collate fuel and wages information, entering the night driver hours and attendance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience
  • Must hold a B category driving licence (ideally no more than 3 points)
  • Team player mentality as well as being able to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent knowledge of the organisation and business area, with a good understanding of the Tachograph Legislation.
  • Good working knowledge of IT packages : Word, Excel, Internet, Intranet.
  • Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
