OverviewWe are seeking a Transport Debriefer to join our team for the night shift. The role involves ensuring efficient communication and coordination within the transport department.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 6:30pm to 3:30am
Responsibilities
- Brief and debrief drivers, ensuring that temperature compliance has been maintained.
- Allocating vehicles to all Leighton Buzzard HGV routes on the in house system
- Managing the vehicle movements in the yard, allocating check codes to final mile routes.
- Managing vehicle and fridge repairs.
- Downloading driver digital tachograph cards on to the system.
- Processing all driver 6 monthly licence checks.
- Collate fuel and wages information, entering the night driver hours and attendance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience
- Must hold a B category driving licence (ideally no more than 3 points)
- Team player mentality as well as being able to work on own initiative.
- Excellent knowledge of the organisation and business area, with a good understanding of the Tachograph Legislation.
- Good working knowledge of IT packages : Word, Excel, Internet, Intranet.
- Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
