Private Client Solicitor - Court of Protection
Location: Leighton Buzzard
Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 (dependent on experience)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (Monday and Thursday in the office)
Are you a dedicated solicitor with over 2 years of Court of Protection experience? We're looking for a talented individual to join a busy and dynamic team of 10 at a reputable law firm in Leighton Buzzard. If you have a strong work ethic, learn quickly, and are passionate about managing high-value cases, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Manage Court of Protection case files and PI Trusts cases.
- Efficiently submit Court of Protection applications.
- Delegate work to junior staff members and support their training.
- Meet daily chargeable hour targets.
- Ensure compliance and maintain accurate case file records.
- Write articles and engage in networking/business development.
- Ensure the accuracy of legal information on the website.
- Attend relevant training sessions.
- Provide ad hoc support within the private client team.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years as a Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive, Grade B or C.
- Exceptional time management and attention to detail.
- Experience in drafting Court of Protection applications.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to developing relationships and business.
