About the Role:
As a Private Client Solicitor, you will:
- Advise on tax relief applicable to trusts and estates
- Administer Trusts and Estates, preparing returns to HMRC for probate
- Provide detailed inheritance tax and estate planning
- Offer will advice and planning
- Advise on applications for business property reliefs and trusts
- Take instructions for complex Wills
- Draft Lasting Power of Attorneys
- Promote the business to gain new opportunities and support growth
- Handle simple to complex Estates and relevant tax regimes
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of Private Client experience
- Fully qualified with 5 years PQE
- Knowledge of various exemptions that apply to estates
- Efficient fee earner with the ability to manage your own caseload
- Knowledge of capital gains tax
- Experience with complex probate, trusts, and Wills
- Detail-oriented and a strong communicator
- Self-motivated and take pride in your work
- Strong communicator both written and verbally
