Hours: 6pm to 2pm or 10pm to 6am

We have a great opportunity to join a worldwide business as a Shift Engineer for a production facility based in Leighton Buzzard.

The Shift Engineer would be responsible for supporting the production team with a proactive service to enable production lines to run safely and efficiently, reduce downtime through Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvements - all while having a high regard for Health and Safety.Key responsibilities for a Shift Engineer

  • Engineering maintenance and fault finding on industrial machinery
  • Onsite maintenance and engineering’s support for site assets
  • Working on PPM schedules
  • Troubleshooting systems

Essential skills for a Shift Engineer

  • Rounded engineer with an electrical/mechanical bias
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing facility
  • Knowledge and experience of injection moulding industry
  • Computer literate
  • Compliant with Health and Safety requirements
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently on maintenance tasks
