Manufacturing Operative Permanent 40 Hours per week (8:00am to 16:30pm Monday to Friday) £25,000 per annum Leighton Buzzard My client is looking candidates who ideally have manufacturing experience to join their team and become a Contact Lens Technician. As a Contact Lens Technician you will be taught to manufacture lenses to the highest standard. Ensuring lead times are met and prioritising overdue and urgent lenses. You will be working in a sterile, clinical setting with no natural light due to the nature of the manufacturing process. Contact Lens Technician Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To manufacture contact lenses in an efficient manner, reducing scrappage and ensuring all lenses are of a high standard.
  • To keep a clean, safe, and tidy workspace
  • Report any issues or concerns to line manager.
  • To clean down all areas of dry and empty the hoovers as required.

Contact Lens Technician Experience:

  • Proven High level in attention to detail in previous roles
  • Previous experience in a Picking/Packing Environment

Contact Lens Technician Personal Qualities:

  • Education: GCSE English and Maths.
