Part-Time Team Administrator

Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual looking for a flexible part-time role? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our friendly and hard-working team in Leighton Buzzard!

Hours: 20 hours per week, working 4-5 days each week (Mondays and Fridays are essential)

Meeting attendance required: You will be required to take meeting actions during Monday evening meetings twice a month, you will be paid overtime at time and a half.

Office Environment: Office based - work in a great historical office, surrounded by caring helpful individuals.Pay: £14.84 - £15.58 per hour (£15,472 - £16,249 based on 20 hours)Benefits: 26.8% contributory pension, free parking, and more!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Preparation: Collate and present information for business tenders, ensuring strict deadlines are met.
  • Meeting Coordination: Produce agendas, prepare meeting packs, invite attendees, book rooms, and set up meeting spaces.
  • Minute Taking: Take minutes during meetings as needed.
  • Communication: Liaise with various teams and external parties, handle telephone and email enquiries, and monitor incoming applications.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous admin experience is a must. Experience in a council or public sector role is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and communication skills, with excellent written English.
  • Minute Taking: Previous experience is desired but not essential.
  • Organisation: Being organised and having the ability to prioritise your own workload is essential.
