PharmacistLeighton Buzzard - onsite Salary up to £50k

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our clients team. This role is integral to ensuring the safe, legally compliant, and clinically accurate supply of medication while upholding the highest standards of pharmacy practice. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a patient-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accurate and legal supply of dispensed medication in line with GPhC standards and Responsible Pharmacist regulations.
  • Oversee the final accuracy check on all prescriptions, ensuring compliance with pharmacy SOPs.
  • Maintain adherence to Responsible Pharmacist regulations and ensure the competence of the dispensing team, providing necessary training.
  • Manage compliance with the Clinical Governance framework, including risk management, clinical audit programs, and patient safety initiatives.
  • Log, analyze, and address errors and near misses, implementing preventive measures.
  • Stay up to date with CPD and current pharmacy practices.
  • Ensure prescriptions are dispensed within required timescales and maintain proper temperature control for all medications.
  • Provide informed responses to drug-related queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Complete all pharmacovigilance activities within the required timelines.

Skills & Experience:

  • Registered Pharmacist with up-to-date CPD compliance.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to influence and lead a team effectively.
  • Clear patient focus with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
