Our partner school in Leighton Buzzard are looking to recruit a Year 3 Teacher for the new academic year. The SLT within this school work hard to create a positive learning environment where the children are encouraged to make mistakes. They are looking for a modern, forward thinking teacher who is able to use positive behaviour management techniques to ensure that low level disruption is kept to a minimum. Staff at this school are encouraged to think outside the box and think of creative ways to deliver sessions.

This is a 2-form entry school so you will work closely with the other year group teacher and benefit from shared planning and marking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan fun and stimulating lessons that are differentiated for your class
  • Follow the school ethos around positive behaviour management
  • Work in collaboration with the other teachers in the school
  • Feedback effectively to parents, SENDCO's and outside agencies when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • QTS
  • Experience teaching Year 3
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for supporting students with diverse educational needs.
