Pharmacy Operations Manager

Up to £70,000 DOE

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Bedford. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and optimizing our services to meet the needs of our patients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Implement and maintain Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and pharmacovigilance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships within the homecare industry commercial environment.
  • Ensure the pharmacy is compliant with all GPhC, pharmacy, medicines, and other relevant regulations.
  • Oversee inventory management, procurement, and distribution processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy staff, ensuring a high level of service and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and patient care.
  • Monitor and analyse operational performance, implementing improvements where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Degree level Pharmacy qualification.
  • Extensive knowledge of pharmacy, medicines, and other regulations impacting pharmacy operations.
  • Proficiency in Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and pharmacovigilance requirements.
  • Experience within the homecare industry commercial environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
