We are seeking an experienced QualityInspector to join our precision engineering client, specializing in the production of high precision CNC machined parts and providing an opportunity for the successful candidate to assist in arranging the inspection department.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough inspections of precision engineered parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications
  • Use a variety of measuring tools and equipment to conduct inspections, including calipers, micrometers, and CMM (coordinate measuring machine)
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
  • Communicate any non-conformities or quality issues to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist in arranging the inspection department to support the company's certification goals
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and/or AS9100 quality standards is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Rateand Hours
The rate for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position with standard working hours, and the possibility of occasional overtime as needed.
