The role of the Managing Quantity Surveyor:
- Managing the commercials of the sub regional office
- Supporting with the forecasting and future projections for the sub region
- Managing the CVR process on a monthly basis for all sub regional contracts
- Monitoring the contract's progress
- Managing the controls around individual contract budgets
- Preparing and monitoring cash flow
- Preparing and submitting monthly applications for payment to the client or client's representative
- Submitting invoices for certified value and ensuring payments are received on time.
- Valuing and authorising payments to sub-contractors
- Assisting in the preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders
- Liaising with contract managers to establish the project specification and requirements
- Mentoring and supporting the Surveyors in the region
I would love to hear from a Managing Quantity Surveyor who has:
- Experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor within the social housing industry
- UK Full Driving License
- Able to pass a DBS check
- Good IT skills
