We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join us! For the right person, this is an extremely rewarding and exciting role and can provide excellent career growth and personal development. Please note, for this role, you will need a full UK driving licence, with access to a vehicle.
Working Hours: 08:30 - 17:30, Monday to Friday (40-hours).
Location: Leighton Buzzard, fully office based.
Contract Type: Permanent (6-month probation).
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Developing business with new clients over the telephone, face-to-face and via email. Please note, this will include cold calling.
- Sourcing candidates to match your client’s needs.
- Advertising vacancies in a professional and creative manner in order to attract the best candidates.
- Must be fully IT literate with good social media skills.
- The ability to thoroughly internally interview candidates and prepare them for external client interviews.
- Finalising offers of employment between your clients and candidates, while negotiating terms of employment.
- Handling and supporting with business retention and account management.
- Conducting client visits, as and when required.
- Filling all temporary bookings to meet strict deadlines, per client service level agreements.
- Supporting with day-to-day office administration, including: Compliance, agency worker regulations, data entry, payroll and customer support.
- Working in a target driven environment with weekly and monthly targets.
Person Specification:
- Ideally, knowledge of the recruitment market with experience of working in a 360 role. Alternatively, someone with B2B sales experience or account management skills, with a desire to progress into the Recruitment sector.
- Right to work in the UK. Please note, we don’t offer sponsorships.

- To have excellent customer service and sales experience, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Full UK Driving Licence, with a car available.
- To be able to negotiate, build strong client relationships, and ensure client retention.
- To have the ability to work in a busy and ever-changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A 'can do’ mindset, for example: committed, honest, flexible and reliable, with the determination to succeed.
- Must be used to working in a small company.
