WSR are recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join the team for our Client, based in Leighton Buzzard

Summary
Our client is seeking a Workshop Engineer. The successful candidate will mainly work on pre-delivery inspections, upgrades to machinery and assisting within their test facility
Key responsibilities:
- Complete machine PDI’s/ return check-in/functions tests
- Fault finding and perform corrective action
- Complete attachment checks - check they fit correctly and are working
- Demonstrate machine function and capabilities for Customer demonstrations
- Maintain clear, accurate and timely records of all work undertaken
- Provide engineering support for the technical team
- Comply with industry/company Health & Safety and Environmental requirements
- Maintain a clean and tidy workshop and department
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues
- Be presentable, punctual and professional with customers
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in working on completing PDI’s, preferably in a sales environment.
- Formal technical qualification/apprenticeship.
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Energetic and able to think on their feet, with problem solving skills.
- Self-motivated and confident, able to work alone as well as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and develop.
