Overview:
In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality physical education to students of all ages. You will be responsible for planning and executing engaging lessons that inspire a lifelong love for physical activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that foster a love for physical activity and promote healthy lifestyles
- Provide instruction in a variety of sports and physical activities, catering to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support growth and development
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, sportsmanship, and personal achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate school-wide events, sports fixtures, and extracurricular activities
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for physical education and inspire students to embrace the benefits of an active lifestyle
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, but not mandatory. We welcome applications from individuals with relevant experience and a strong passion for physical education
- Proven experience working with children or young adults in a sports coaching, mentoring, or educational setting
- A genuine enthusiasm for promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development through PE
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds
- A commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered
