OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to the loading, unloading, stocking, and building of materials. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers efficiently.
- Stock shelves and maintain an organised warehouse environment.
- Build pallets and prepare products for shipping.
- Operate warehouse management systems, to track inventory levels.
- Perform materials handling tasks with care to ensure product integrity.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy in documentation and inventory records.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
- Counterbalance licence and experience
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as and when required by the role.
- Experience with materials handling techniques and warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving is essential for success in this position.
