Sonic Summary

We are seeking an experienced warehouse operative with a minimum of two years of warehouse experience, including FLT and ideally a driving licence.
The role involves various tasks such as picking and packing, stock taking, and maintaining a clean warehouse environment.
Candidates should be physically fit, able to lift up to 25kgs, and comfortable working on their feet while managing multiple tasks.
Attention to detail, good numeracy skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for success in this position.
The salary for this role is competitive, and candidates must be over 21 years old for insurance purposes.

We are actively recruiting for an experienced warehouse operative to join a growing company based in Leighton Buzzard. Please note, for this role, you MUST have a minimum of two years warehouse experience, including FLT and ideally a driving licence.

The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure and have a positive can-do attitude. They will possess the ability to manage several tasks at once while remaining calm and collected. You will support the warehouse in all aspects including:

Picking & packing, stock taking, goods in/out and housekeeping.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on their feet and lifting up-to 25kgs, with a focus on meeting individual and team KPI’s.
They will have attention to detail and be proactive in their approach, looking out for ways to improve the warehouse & logistics function.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Picking & Packing, preparing deliveries for dispatch.
Checking deliveries in/out, including unloading container deliveries.
Forklifting duties - Reach FLT.
Unloading containers.
Stock taking.
Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy, adhering to health and safety processes.
Data entry of important information on the system.
Occasionally driving to drop vehicles for maintenance

Requirements & Qualifications:

2 years warehouse experience, including Picking & Packing, goods in/out, etc.
Must be computer literate with good data entry and attention to detail.
Good telephone manner.
Good verbal and written English.
Excellent numeracy skills both mental and written.
Clean Driving licence - minimum of 2 years, over 21 for insurance purposes experience of driving large vans would be beneficial.
Forklift licence preferred although training provided for the right candidate.
Physically fit, must be able to lift, up to 25kgs multiple times throughout the day.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team using own initiative.
