Class 2 Driver

Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver and would like to work for a very well established and reputable family run company who have a very relaxed culture? You will be an integral part of the team and will play an important part within the business. You will have a clean licence and will be available to start work in the next couple of weeks. There is a salary of £28,500.

The Role:

• Carry out collections and deliveries in a professional manner to all customers
• Keep an accurate record of deliveries and collections using appropriate documentation provided by the Company
• Drive the Company’s vehicles responsibly and safely; being aware and adhering to all driving legislation
• Drops and collections around the Northwest and Greater Manchester area
• On the rare occasion travel to Milton Keynes
• Daily checks on the vehicle to be carried out ensuring any defects found are reported
• Daily equipment checks to be carried out and any lost or defective equipment found to be reported
• Represent the Company and its values to ensure a professional and business-like image is portrayed to all customers, potential customers and other people you meet in the course of your work at all times
• Carry out other tasks and duties as required
