Our client is a hotel on the Suffolk coast, with an award-winning golf club on site. Part of a small group of individual family-run hotels, country club, and spa, this hotel offers diners a range of delicious classic dishes in the main restaurant and bar area.

This hotel offers a 4-day working week, giving you a better work/life balance with 3 days off each week.

What's involved?

As a Chef de Partie, you will be working in a team of chefs; preparing, cooking and presenting dishes for your section. You will also carry out all mis-en-place for the next shift, ensuring stock is rotated on a first in, first out basis.

You will cater for lunch service in the bar area, which offers a selection of lighter meals and snacks and caters for an average of 50-60 covers, and then dinner service in the main restaurant too; ensuring the food you're preparing is of the right quality and that the dish presentation meets company standards.

You'll work closely with the senior chefs in the kitchen to plan menus and create special dishes. You will monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins whilst ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and health and safety at all times.
