leading civil engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join our team on the groundbreaking Sizewell C nuclear power plant project. - Contribute to the construction of Sizewell C, a vital piece of infrastructure.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the construction team, ensuring adherence to project specifications, drawings, and safety protocols.
- Oversee setting out and leveling operations, ensuring accurate placement of structures and utilities.
- Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Champion safety on the project, promoting a culture of awareness and ensuring adherence to the highest standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on large-scale civil engineering projects, ideally with a background in nuclear or power plant construction.
- A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to nuclear power projects.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software for setting out and leveling operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
- A commitment to safety, with a proven ability to implement and uphold the highest safety standards.
