We're seeking a passionate Junior Health & Safety Advisor to join a dynamic ground and earthworks company company. Your Responsibilities:

  • Proactively prevent workplace injuries and equipment damage.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and welfare legislation.
  • Oversee the provision and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Verify the safety and compliance of plant, equipment, materials, and services.
  • Identify and mitigate potential hazards on construction sites.
  • Promote safe working methods and stay up-to-date with legislative changes.
  • Provide H&S input during tendering, planning, and pre-contract stages.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance.

What You'll Bring:

  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate.
  • IOSH membership (or working towards).
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Solid understanding of H&S legislation.
  • Previous experience in a construction H&S role (preferred).
