Responsibilities and duties
As a Senior Engineer, you will:
- Plan, monitor, and manage your section of works, ensuring timely execution.
- Provide accurate setting out and control, maintaining project stations and long-term site accuracy.
- Keep detailed records of progress, setting out, and project disruptions, communicating updates to the team.
- Supervise and mentor site engineers, offering guidance and technical support.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Implement permit-to-dig and hot work permits, conducting safety inspections as required.
- Conduct inspections and ensure work is executed to contract-specified tolerances.
- Maintain as-built records, RFI logs, and quality inspection plans.
- Oversee material usage, site documentation, and waste management plans.
- Manage temporary works, crane operations, and underground service coordination.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of setting-out instruments.
- Participate in project meetings, contributing technical expertise and problem-solving solutions.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Qualification in Civil Engineering (MEng/BEng/Foundation Degree/BTEC).
- Minimum three years of on-site experience in civil engineering.
- Strong technical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and quality control.

- Salary from 37,000 to 48,000
