Sonovision Limited is a leading provider of Technical Publications, Computer Based Training, Integrated Logistic Support, Graphic Design, Animation and Marketing Services to global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) across a wide variety of sectors.

AutoCAD Technician - The Role:

The role will primarily be updating 2D CAD engineering drawings for the nuclear power industry.

You will work alongside a team of dedicated Project Engineers, Technical Authors, CAD Technicians and Document Controllers and site technicians to create and maintain site drawings for various on-site project teams.

As part of the wider team, you will support weekly reporting functions including attending progress meetings with various stakeholders across the business.

AutoCAD Technician - Candidate specification:

Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience within an engineering environment, with Nuclear experience an advantage.
Experience with producing and updating Engineering drawings using AutoCAD
Good understanding of engineering data in a variety of formats from Engineering drawings to Design Reports
Conduct site surveys to gather accurate measurements, assess existing conditions, and verify design feasibility.
Adequate competency using different software packages for planning/reporting purposes
A pro-active thinker that can provide potential solutions
Ability to track production of tasks from conception to completion
Drive and enthusiasm to achieve customer quality criteria
Ability to work to deadlines and adhere to schedules
Ability work with a minimum of supervision
Current CTC or SC Clearance an advantage
