I am recruiting for a part time HR Advisor to work for a Hotel chain across Suffolk. You will be based in Woodbridge however you will be covering ER related matters across the hotel chain in Suffolk.

Although this is an HR Advisor role, the main part of this role will be Employee Relations. They are looking for the successful candidate to have experience in this field and be confident carrying out the typical ER duties including Grievances, disciplinaries, dismissals and absences. You will be in charge of the employee lifestyle from start to finish.Key tasks will also involve:

Management Support and Advice:

  • Act as the first line HR advisor, addressing compliance and risk issues.
  • Monitor HR KPIs like absence and turnover.
  • Provide guidance on employee policies and procedures.
  • Assist Heads of Departments with performance management issues.
  • Conduct investigations, disciplinary, and grievance meetings.

Administration and Payroll:

  • Oversee HR/payroll admin, including starters and leavers, absence records, and training documentation.
  • Ensure all eligibility to work criteria are met and references are received for new employees.
  • Conduct exit interviews.

Recruitment and Development:

  • Support recruitment advertising for the hotels.
  • Assist Heads of Departments with recruitment and interviews.
  • Work with the Training Manager to deliver the Company Induction.
  • Manage the appraisal system and implement outcomes.

This is offering a 32 hour working week with a salary of £34k FTE and has the flexibility to cover these hours over 4 or 5 days.

It is also offering hybrid working enabling you to work from home at least 1 day per week if you choose.

You must have your own transport as you will be required to travel to different sites on an Ahok basis in order to carry out your role, so please only apply if this applicable.
