Our client is seeking a highly skilled Civils Site Manager to join their team for an exciting project near Southwold, Suffolk. The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing civil engineering works, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all site operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Supervise site teams and subcontractors effectively.
  • Coordinate and manage deep excavation and temporary works.
  • Monitor progress and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Conduct risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the day shift team to ensure continuity.

Essential Experience

The ideal candidate must have the following certifications (or be willing to obtain any missing qualifications before the start date):

  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • Supervisor Street Works Card
  • CSCS Card
  • Water Hygiene Certificate - Desirable 
  • First Aid Certification
  • Fire Marshal Training
  • Temporary Works Coordinator
  • Manual Handling Training
  • Deep Excavation Training
  • CDM Training
  • Cable Avoidance Training
