Project Manager

Site based on Sizewell C, Suffolk

The Opportunity

We are looking for experienced Project Managers from the construction or energy sectors to join the site team at Sizewell C. These roles are crucial to the success of SZC, and you'll be joining at a pivotal moment in the project's development, with the opportunity to grow alongside it.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will be based on-site at Sizewell C, overseeing Earthworks and heavy Civils disciplines section of the site. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring your project area is delivered on time and within budget, supporting the overall success of the build.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage on-site project activities, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and milestones.
  • Implement project management best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Oversee contractor and subcontractor operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks to ensure smooth progression.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in large-scale infrastructure or energy projects (with values of approximately £20 million or more).
  • In-depth experience of Civil projects including concreate structures, foundations, based, bridges and utilities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the construction or energy sectors.
  • Experience with NEC contracts, ideally within a multiprogram construction environment.
  • Qualifications in NEC 3/4, construction, or other relevant memberships.
  • Ability to deliver project scope in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field would be advantageous.

All positions are long term contract and inside IR35.
