Senior Project Manager

My client is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager with a background in Civil Engineering to join their team on a permanent basis working on major early civils work on Sizewell.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale civil engineering projects from inception to completion ideally with tier 1 or stabilisation experience.

• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.

• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

• Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.

• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.

• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.

• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the civil engineering industry.

• Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
