My client is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager with a background in Civil Engineering to join their team on a permanent basis working on major early civils work on Sizewell.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage large-scale civil engineering projects from inception to completion ideally with tier 1 or stabilisation experience.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the civil engineering industry.
Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
