ARC are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to work with our client Galldris on a large infrastructure project at Sizewell in Leiston.
This role offers the opportunity to play a key role in managing costs and contracts for civil engineering projects in a challenging and dynamic construction environment.
Duties & Responsibilities of Site Engineer
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier contracts
- Monitor project costs and financial progress
- Provide commercial support to project teams
- Prepare and submit valuations and final accounts
Desirable Experience:
- Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities
